Hi, I'm Laine!
I've always been fascinated by the way observation can reveal meaning. What began as a love of drawing people evolved into a passion for anatomy, science, and medicine, which require the same careful attention to detail and commitment to understanding what lies beneath the surface.
Today, I create medical and scientific illustrations that help transform complex concepts into clear, accessible visuals for learners, clinicians, and patients. My work combines artistic precision with a foundation in biomedical research, allowing me to bridge the worlds of science, education, and communication.
I am currently a Molecular Biology and Genetics student at the University of the South, where I study the biological mechanisms underlying health and disease while continuing to develop my work as a medical illustrator. Whether through art, research, or patient care, I am passionate about helping people understand and engage more deeply with the underlying systems in the body.
